We are excited to invite you to meet an amazing artist, Ekaterina Abramova.

Many of you may remember Ekaterina from her Chicago Exhibit at Prak-Sis Gallery in August of 2017.

We have invited Ekaterina to talk about her Project “Portrait of Your Dream”, an amazing artistic vision of transcendent visualization. Ekaterina’s own rich and extraordinary life experiences advanced her into the artist of rare skills and certainly, into the extraordinary individual. Please join us on May 18th at 7 PM for an evening of conversation with the artist and learning about the project. Discover how you can visualize and paint you dream.

Artist EKATERINA ABRAMOVA specializes in painting and graphic arts in traditional technique using oil, acrylic, markers, etc.

Ekaterina is a multifaceted artist; her style can be described as going in two major directions: the 21st century Post-Expressionism, and Spiritual Ornamental paintings drawn on symbolic folk art of various peoples, most notably on Russian and Indian mythology. Born in 1979 in Moscow, she graduated from an art school with honors and continued her studies at the Vasnetsov College of Fine Arts, Moscow. In 2007 she received her MFA from the I.E. Repin State Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, Russia. Her numerous awards include Gold Medal “250th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts,” Gold Medal “National Treasure” of the International Charity Fund “Philanthropists of the Century”, citation from the Russian Academy of Fine Arts for the participation in the exhibition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the Academy, the Peacekeeper Fund Medal, AVISKAR – 2016 International VAN GOGH AWARD, Birla Academy of Art & Culture, CALCUTTA-LONDON, UK, among others. She nominated for the State Presidential Scholarship in the Arts. She is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, Art Fund International, Creative Union of Professional Artists, and Art Indulge Foundation.

A Portrait of Your Dream

We start with discussing your intentions, dreams and wishes. In order to become aware of your goals and aspirations in life, we meet for a talk (it can also be a phone conversation, a call on Skype, or just an exchange of e-mail messages). After that I create a number of sketches and following your inner feelings you choose the one that resonates with you most. Then I start working on the picture.

Painting is a mighty instrument for making your aspirations, intentions and dreams come true.

I am getting many reports from people whose Dream Portraits are fulfilling their bravest dreams just the way they hoped.

The most important thing for me is to see joy, love and harmony filling your life. Your happiness is mine, and mine is yours.
